“After days of labor, mute in my consternation, I hear my song at last, and I sing it.” ~Wendell Berry

Psalm 96 reads:
“O sing to the Lord a new song;
Sing to the Lord, all the earth.
Sing to the Lord, bless his name,
Tell of his salvation from day to day.”

What kind of courage does it take to sit in stillness until the song within us rises? How do we learn to listen for the song of our lives, and to sing it wholeheartedly?
